Main tasks

Critical analysis of high-level technical specification requirements

Definition of Embedded Safety Critical SW requirements of detail and drafting of the

relative specification

Trade-off studies and definition of the best SW architecture able to satisfy the

performance and safety requirements

Preparation of the documentation required for the certification of the SW according to the

RTCA standard DO-178C

Project support for the trade-off analysis and definition phase

system and component requirements

Support for detailed design choices for electronic components, based on the

technical specifications and chosen architecture

To elaborate the technical design documents (DRL) in English language

To carry out tests on prototypes of the control systems and related debugging activities

Develop firmware

Interface with customers and suppliers to discuss and deepen the specialized aspects of

own competence

Desired Skills and Experience :

Degree in Electronic or Information Engineering or equivalent culture

In-depth knowledge of RTCA software certification standards DO-178C

Experience in the development and certification of Embedded Safety Critical SW

DAL A / B) according DO-178C

Knowledge of UML definition language

Knowledge of electronic design and simulation environments

Knowledge of C / C++ programming languages

Knowledge of MS Office suite

Knowledge of Matlab modeling software, Simulink

Great knowledge of LabVIEW and VeriStand

Other Requirements :

Problem solving attitude;

Team worker, yet also accustomed to working independently, on challenging and diversified activities, capable to work in multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects;

Good communication skills;

Pro-active customer focused approach;

Good knowledge of both spoken and written technical English.
