Our team works with world leading Media and Retail companies including to make the internet fast and secure. As a partner to the Global 500, we collaborate with customers and prospects to align Akamai solutions to business needs.

We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.

Work with our Largest, most Strategic Accounts

Selling our product range to prospects and our existing largest customers. You will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activities from lead generation to deal closure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams internally to help identify opportunities for growth, development and customer loyalty.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for :

  • Fostering long term and solid relationships through understanding customer needs and being an effective advocate within Akamai.
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospects and customers.
  • Meeting bookings and revenue growth quota within a set of assigned accounts and new prospects.
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customers requirements are successfully delivered.
  • Do what you love

    To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have relevant sales experience working with large enterprise customers.
  • Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies.
  • Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English.
