Variations and claims management Reporting Line : Functionally and hierarchically reporting to the Head of Contract & Risk Management Key interactions : Project Managers, Project Risk Managers, HSE, Security, Administration Finance and Control, Project Cost Controllers, Project Planners.
The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to : Supporting project manager or for the successful contract administration and management during project execution.
Ensuring proper coordination and interface with client’s counterpart in respect of contract administration and management mattersSupporting company functions in contract management matters involving suppliers and / or subcontractors, attending, as necessary, relevant negotiations.
Identifying commercial and contractual risks and opportunities.Ensuring proper implementation of contract and claims management according to company guidelines, including preparation of the variation orders or claim dossiers Requirements : Must have BS / diploma in engineering or law or business admin / quantity surveying.
A- t least 5 year first tier specific experience in contract management (including variations and claims management) in EPC oil & gas projects and familiarity with terms and conditions, policies, and standards.
Previous experience in disputes management- Strong analytical skillsP- revious experience in project management and control disciplines (e.
g. risk management, cost control, planning)
