We are currently recruiting for a Professional Services Specialist to join our customer focused Sales and Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities :

What will you do as a Professional Services Specialist?

As part of the Local Professional Services team, you will support and influence the successful roll-out and subsequent embedding of MiSight 1 Day and myopia management.

You will work with established MiSight eye care professionals (ECPs) along with new ECPs through on-going training and education and provide clinical and commercial support working to establish CooperVision as the leader in myopia management.

You will work closely with a range of customers, including Key Accounts,to positively promote engagement with CooperVision MiSight 1 Day and the myopia management category amongst eye care practitioners and retail staff.

Essential Functions

Manage MiSight within Italy developing the local tactical plans for the sales and promotion of the products in coordination with the local teams, Sales, Marketing and Professional Service.

You will be aligned to a geographic region for internal and external local training purposes, in addition to being involved in national events and initiatives.

Manage and drive MiSight 1 Day performance in optical practices through a structured program supported by EMEA Professional Services Head of MiSight, including clinical, product and communications training to increase the number of myopic children offered myopia management.

Support the usage of Ortho-K as an alternative option for myopia management for the appropriate children utilizing our DreamLite and CRT offerings.

Working with the EMEA Professional Services Head of MiSight, promote and deliver company-approved training material through presentations and practical training at practice training sessions and across a range of events including workshops, seminars, conferences, trade shows.

Work closely with marketing teams to integrate category and market insights into educational materials for eye care practitioners.

Lead the development of key opinion leaders for myopia management in the local market.

Identify opportunities to raise awareness of myopia management outside of the optical industry.

Create and implement practice development programs to support myopia management growth as appropriate.

In alignment with local and EMEA marketing and professional services leads, work with Account Managers and marketing teams on clinical strategy for specific accounts.

Offer opinion and counsel on new opportunities and initiatives at pre-and post-launch stage of MiSight 1 day.

Support Marketing teams in the development of ECP-facing materials to ensure engagement and technical accuracy.

Manage ECP queries on the clinical fitting or product information of MiSight 1 day either directly or with support of EMEA Professional Services Head of MiSight.

Propose clinical and educational content for trade press, symposia, conferences and exhibitions.

Keep up-to-date with contact lens fitting, particularly in the field of myopia management.

Keep up-to-date and proactively report on market trends, category news and competitor activity.

Understand the regulation of contact lenses for children in the market and provide guidance on this.

Key Knowledge and Skills

High level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Previous experience in management or other leadership roles preferred.

Italian and fluent in English both spoken and written.

Experience

Qualified and practicing Optometrist for a minimum of 5 years within the local market in a similar role.

Strong clinical experience in contact lens fitting and patient management, across a range of lens types and modalities in the local market.

Experience in Marketing.

Existing knowledge and experience of myopia management and fitting children with contact lenses.

Proven experience in Marketing, Sales and Business Development.

Full, clean driving license required.
