Costume Associate - Wardrobe (Part-time)

About the role...
The Wardrobe Costumer isresponsible for issuing uniform to all LEGOLAND and Peppa Pig Theme park employeeswho are required it.
This includes laundering, data entry into the uniformsoftware system, and altering the Wardrobe Manger to any gaps in stock.
The roleof costumer also issues all IDs for the park. Working within the entertainmentdepartment, the costumer maintains costume cleanliness and set up of costumesfor live shows and characters.
Basic sewing repairs on both uniform and costumemust be conducted. Assist with and monitor all areas in the Costume / Wardrobearea by performing the following duties.
Whatyou’ll be doing...
Issue Wardrobe on an as needed basis to Employees (Model Citizens) and Peppa Pig theme Park employees
Perform computer entries for issuance of garments and record garments returned.
Is knowledgeable concerning what constitutes a complete outfit for each area and issues accordingly.
Receives wardrobe back from employees and inventories stock.
Counts new inventory as it arrives and stores in correct place.
Keeps Wardrobe / Costume area clean and all wardrobe items put away or hung in the appropriate place.
Handles incoming laundry from areas in Park, in an efficient and tidy manner.
Puts laundry into washing machine, removes laundry from washing machine and puts laundry into dryer, folds and puts away laundry.
Acts as Costumer during show set ups, or dressing role as needed.
Repairs Costumes as necessary for park shows and characters.
Basic sewing ability required, such as hemming and basic hand sewing. Knowledge of industrial sewing machines a huge plus.
Looks for new ways to use space efficiently, and speed the process of issuing garments.
Provide excellent customer service to the Park
Who we’re looking for...
One year of experience as a Wardrobe Issue Attendant in a themepark, hotel, resort or other closely related field is highly desirable, but notrequired.
Requires good interpersonal skills, must be polite, friendly andoutgoing. Must be a team player, who works well with others.
Good verbal andwritten communication skills are important. Requires the ability toself-initiate activities and coordinate daily tasks, should be able to workwith a minimum of supervision.
Must beorganized, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast pacedenvironment. Computer proficiency is necessary.
Basic math skills are required.Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
