This is an interesting opportunity to join an international breeding company. Reporting to the Managing Director, the resource will be responsible to obtain the highest, more reliable and sustainable Market Share, with the contribution of new genetic and of product specifications, by managing product life cycle.
Have a deep knowledge of the market for his own crops of responsibility in terms of segments, products and opportunities, through continuous contacts with main growers, traders, exporters and retail buyers.
Support Sales Representatives with his own technical knowledge, give advice on products, indicate product positioning with a comparison with competitors’ varieties, inform about market trends, etc.
Organize and implement trials of varieties as well as commercial trials of varieties in order to support local sales and research activities
Define sales objectives in terms of planning and results and implementing communication and promotional actions
Continuously supply Breeders, Chain Manager and Managing Directors with info on market trends and varieties need
Propose forecasts of commercial and pre-commercial varieties
Develop and implement Action Plan for his own crops of responsibility
Actively support the Direction in managing claims on seeds quality and sales performances
Monitor actions and strategies of the main competitors
Well developed communication and presentation skills
Good commercial attitude
Ability to deal with complex business activities
Bachelor’s degree Horticultural or Agricultural or equivalent knowledge gained through proven experience.
knowledge of English language both in speaking and writing (B2 / C1)
Good knowledge of informatics, particularly of Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), of e-mail and the internet.
Place of Work : Italy ( willingness up to travel 75% )
Gross annual Salary : 50.000 Euro + MBO + car
