Sales Consultant Consumer & Shopper

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Share with the Manager the client’s business needs, the estimation of the service and the proposal release.
  • Can lead commercial negotiations or contribute to it, depending on the type of client and project.
  • Identify needs / opportunities of developing new solutions and enhancing opportunities in terms of sales, costs, margins.
  • Develop marketing activities and internal and external product visibility (eg. Editorial, events and conferences).
  • Earning client trust and understanding their needs by building and maintaining strong networks
  • Demonstrating thought leadership by educating the client on industry trends and Nielsen solutions
  • Managing sales by creating simple and compelling proposals, pricing products and identifying how to convert these into sales
  • Understanding the client and their contractual terms
  • Negotiating sales through the enterprise selling process and achieving winning outcomes for you and our client
  • Managing the sales process through Salesforce on a day to day basis and proactively responding to opportunities
  • Actively contributing to elements of the business planning process
  • Understanding Nielsen’s key products and collaborating with wider teams
  • About you :

    You will possess the following skills :

  • Strong knowledge in the ad hoc studies (qualitative and quantitative). Is preferable a previous work experience in Market Research Institutes in analytics and / or sales roles
  • An understanding of Nielsen Consumer Panel products and services (preferred)
  • University Master degree
  • Passion and energy for the FMCG industry
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Understands financial terminology and what these mean for business success
  • Excellent business English both written and verbal
  • Italian Mother tongue
  • An ability to analytically problem solve and create solutions
  • Strong time management skills, control and coordination of multitasking activities
