    PRIMARY FUNCTION :

    The Financial Services Area Sales Manager is responsible for supporting and promoting the sales of CNHI Brands (AG and CE equipment and Parts) and Iveco by selling full range of Retail financial products and services to and through assigned dealers within the dealer network.

    The position is field-based, involves extensive travel and is responsible for producing volume and margin, increasing market share, and the consistent growth of all FS retail products and services through the effective determination, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive dealer-

    by-dealer financial business development plan and through successful interaction with dealer management, staff and customers and collaboration with the CNHI Commercial Brand counterparts.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Achieve or exceed predetermined targets for the distribution of the full retail product range of CNHI FS in the assigned territory

    Support, promote and facilitate the sale of equipment through the provision of financial products and services to and through our network of dealers and customers

    Develop, implement and execute a region-specific and dealer-specific business development plan

    Adhere to the defined Sales Process as prescribed by management

    Conduct in-person monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly business review meetings (frequency established by dealer size and business potential) with dealer management and dealer functional departments

    Provide training, coaching, and development to dealer salespeople and staff; proactively recognize training needs and opportunities to maximize dealer sales effectiveness and growth of CNHI FS retail finance market share

    Assist in customer acquisition via joint sales calls with dealer salespeople

    Participate in dealer and Brand regional events (i.e. trade shows, open houses, product demonstrations, etc.) and other meetings as required by management

    Possess complete familiarity with all current finance programs

    Provide market intelligence and input to Brands and CNHI FS management

    Responsibly utilize the company expense policy in the pursuit of business

    Implement new product introductions and roll outs, product training, sales training

    Actively communicate the value proposition of CNHI FS to dealers, customers and Brand counterparts

    Comply and assure dealer compliance with all policy, ethical, legal, and performance guidelines established by CNHI FS

    Identify and communicate areas of potential growth and develop action plans to capture opportunity and grow market share

    Perform other specific projects and implement initiatives as required by management

    Maintain licensing and certification as required by the company and / or national and / or local regulations

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

    Degree to be specified by region

    3-5+ years of experience in sales, and / or business development required

    Proven track record in achieving sales targets within a complex business environment

    Ability to work within a dynamic results driven environment

    Experience in Asset finance required

    Experience in equipment or related industry sales or finance sales a plus

    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Assertiveness, perseverance, energy and passion results oriented behavior required to be successful in a sales role

    Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills and behaviors

    Strong presentation (public speaking) skills

    Effective problem solving skills

    Effective planning and time management skills

    Capabilities with digital technology and software tools

    DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS :

    Experience / interface with dealerships, dealer distribution channels a plus
