Position Purpose :
The Communications & Patient Advocacy Manager will support country Pharma communications for the Business Franchise in line with the country strategic goals, maintaining a positive image for Novartis Pharma and its therapeutic areas.
He / She will create / tailor and implement external communications programs that reach and engage media and social media, general public, patient groups and multiple key stakeholders and reflect local Business prioritization in line with global strategies.
He / She will report to the Head of Pharma & Country Communications.
Major Accountabilities :
Develop effective communications and advocacy strategy and implement communication programs in line with the BF Strategy.
Develop and coordinate traditional and social media relations, including press releases, events and conferences, interviews and develop local communication materials.
Manage external agencies and communications budgets.
Develop crisis-management communications planning, readiness and response capabilities related to the area.
Maintain the relationship with key internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global communications strategy and tactics.
Closed coordination with Corporate & Internal Communications Manager and other BFs Communications Managers.
Experience in crisis management, and proven record of managing crises through effective communications channels.
Demonstrated ability to influence high level media and social media.
