In our R&D design center in Milan, Italy, out team of 200+ engineers ideate and create technological solutions for both the Medical and Non-
Medical Segments. The design center has almost 20 years of experience mainly in drug delivery or diagnostic equipment and disposables to fight diseases such as diabetes, Parkinson’s etc.
Now we are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to strengthen our Systems Engineering Team and, among other things, will have the opportunity to :

Have your ideas and solutions examined by both our customers and our management.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do :
Establish the system architecture and hierarchical relationships all the way down to part’ level;
Establish the feasibility of the system including the system’s detailed physical-functional description, preparation / confirmation of core system requirements and defining the System-of-Interest (SOI);
Liaise with the client via phone, through video conferencing and F2F meetings alongside Business Development Manager / Project Manager / Specialists to track technological requirements and guide technical solutions;
Lead all system relevant feasibility and risk management studies;
Translate the NRSP (Needs, Requirements, Specs and Performance Criteria) into an architectural description of the system ( System requirements’) which is finalized in a System Engineering documentation;
Collate system specs with the support of specialists incl. ME, EE, SW, ID, NPI, ATE, QA, QE, Authorities etc.;
Control relevant system design and testing activities by external resources e.g. suppliers, authorities etc.;
Participate in and / or conduct system design and concept reviews in-house and out-house.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required) :
Degree in electrical / mechanical / mechatronic engineering or informatics with electronics / mechanics / mechatronics background;
8-10 years' experience in the medical industry;
Knowledge of medical relevant processes, functional technologies & processes;
Fluency in English, written and spoken, fluency in Italian is an advantage.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences :
Previous experience in co-developing mechatronic modules for medical applications;
Experience in simulating mechatronic modules and experience in advanced simulation.
