PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Product Marketing AMEA - Service Solutions Product Manager
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop preventive maintenance concept & actively lead & support the sub regions and dealers to identify opportunities & drive the implementation of mid-life & preventive overhaul.
Assist sub regions & dealers to package, prepare proposals & negotiate service packages such as preventive overhauls & service contracts
Drive initiatives and projects that generate new service revenue streams with Telemactics, as well as to increase awareness and utilization
To support the Key accounts manager in participating in strategic Key Account & service solution meetings with sub regions & dealers and exchange information of relevant observations / activities.
Develop extended warranty offer and administrate across the region
Maintain excellent rapport and good relationship with key accounts and support Key accounts manager in effective management of KA with the objective of optimizing business opportunities
Collaborate with sub regions to identify potential KA & fleet owner’s need of reliability & productivity & drive service solution product portfolio such as service contracts, extended warranties
Assist sub regions & dealers to Identify Key accounts requirements & create solutions to meet their requirements
Optimizing telematics web interface features & benefits by implementing proactive service mind set using telematics
Formulate & implementation of men on site support concepts
Actively assist dealers in service contract calculation & packages, conduct training for development (including resource planning and costing), promoting and selling of service contracts
Conduct competitor studies to ensure product competitiveness of service contracts & other service solution products.
Able to work as a team across diverse cultures with some technical knowledge in commercial vehicles / agricultural / construction equipment.
Performs other duties assigned by his supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum Polytechnic diploma in engineering / technology with a good sense of commercial competence, degree preferred
5 years of aftermarket support / marketing experience in construction equipment industry of equivalent industry.
Candidates with experience as a field engineer in related field or with aftersales marketing experience a plus.
Self-motivated, creative & lateral thinker with the ability to work independently
Business minded with strong drive to improve, detail oriented, reliable & flexible to demanding working schedule & intensive travel required within AMEA
Commercially focused, A good working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies & product costing concept.
Strong understanding of customer / dealer requirements in different segments and applications.
Able to work effectively with cross functional teams
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
PC Literate & proficient in MS office applications
Enthusiastic & result-oriented
