We offer the position of "Manufacturing Engineer" to support the factory Advanced Manufacturing Engineering activities. The objective of this role is to contribute to the improvement plans and projects in place for the achievement of company objectives.
The candidate will be involved in working groups and will have to interact with the different company functions to find the necessary information, manage the projects and communicate progress and results.
The figure will be inside the Manufacturing structure and will report directly to the Manufacturing Leader of the plant.The role provides, based on the various projects followed, a direct exposure to other business organizations, whether internal to the plant or external (other foreign production sites, headquarter .
Main responsibilities : Support the implementation of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) programs required by Corporate (TPM, Standard Work, MDI).
Ensure that the changes implemented are in compliance with the Safety and Quality requirements according to Ingersoll Rand standards.
Being an active part in the evolution of the plant (Plant Transformation) through the tools defined by the company : JDI, problem solving, RIE.
To act as a management and technical resource to support the manufacturing teams in the case of customized projects or new product development (NPD) : analyze the technical requirements, evaluate the necessary resources and define the activities to be implemented.
Support the change of production process for the assembly part : from fixed station to integrated assembly line.
Evaluate and manage projects for continuous improvement of the production process (both direct and indirect) with the aim of achieving On Time delivery targets, quality and efficiency.
In collaboration with other business organizations, facilitate the implementation of projects for new investments : from evaluation and selection, to implementation and monitoring.
Bachelor Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Production, Mechanics, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of Lean Production methodologies and tools
Excellent knowledge of the Italian language. Fluency in English.
Good knowledge of the Office package.
Strong ability to work in Team in a horizontal and vertical way compared to the organization.
Propensity for change, organizational autonomy and proactivity.
Master degree is a plus
Experience in production contexts with assembly lines (plus)
Knowledge of the processes of air compressors (plus)
Travel or transfers : (about 10%).
