THE OPPORTUNITY As Manager Procurement, you will be part of our Supply Chain department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna SpA and will be reporting to the Manager Supply Chain.
The position will be based in Crespellano, BO. A key responsibility will be define MTB Procurement sourcing strategy aligned with PMI Principle & Practices and lead MTB Procurement activities to achieve competitive prices at an optimal service level.
Additionally, you will integrate PM MTB SC strategy in the global PMI RRP business model in coordination with central functions and markets.
In your role, you will be responsible to develop an adaptable and agile organization to address business needs and build robust cooperation with internal stakeholders, Supply Chain departments and global Procurement function.
Finally, the Manager Procurement will bring innovative solutions for sourcing activities and process efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement.
Specific responsibilities include :
Staff, coach and develop a motivated, empowered and skilled team to attain the business objectives and reach excellence.
Improve the performance of the team by setting clear objectives, evaluating team accountabilities, strengthening functional and technical skills, increasing visibility and providing development opportunities.
Ensure all involved stakeholders observe compliance during the Procurement process.
Partner with Finance, Internal Controls and Compliance organization to resolve or escalate (if necessary) compliance issues.
Act as a role model in compliance management and ensure that all employees involved in procurement activities are adhering to companies Principle and Practices.
