Generali Italia is looking for a candidate to join the Information Technology department, in particular in the IT Data & Analytics department.
The successful candidate will mainly participate in the following activities :
Design, preparation and maintenance of the Big Data architecture on which Generali Country Italy will be based both on the implementation of the models that the Data Scientists will gradually create, with a view to using new technical paradigms aimed at streamlining standard IT processes (ie ETL vs streaming, defect prevention, ...)
Design, preparation and maintenance of the data hub (data lake) of the Big Data architecture
Design, preparation and maintenance of data propagation procedures for different company targets (batch vs real time)
Drawing of the industrialization and industrialization standards of the use cases produced by Data Scientists
The ideal candidate will be able to :
Work with senior IT profiles as well as with the Data Engineers Team, always providing a technical guide on Big Data architecture, data, data model and also metadata management
Build the Big Data Architect / Implementation Specialists team within the reference IT structure
Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand the evolutionary requirements of Big Data architecture according to the various use cases that will be dealt with over time;
and he / she will be able to translate this information into technical requirements for implementation
The position is open for the offices in : Mogliano Veneto, Milan, Rome, Turin and Trieste
The ideal candidate will meet following requirements : Must have
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering;
5-7 years of experience related to Big Data architectures, data management. At least 2 years of experience in a role of Leadership
At least 3 years experience in advanced data management systems (i.e. Teradata, Hadoop ...)
At least 3 years experience in developing applications for managing large volumes of data or in ETL environments
Experience with current concepts related to project risk assessment, metric generation and risk analysis and management.
Requires knowledge of the underlying platforms
Deep understanding of different domains in the field of responsibility (Big Data architectures - lambda / K)
Good understanding of the different data domains (i.e. operations, customer data, etc.)
Experience in creating and maintaining documentation on architectures and data / structure environments from
Ability to manage projects for creation / modification of data environments, industrialization of data flows from DWH / operational to another environment (data lake)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively with the various organizational levels and with a large user base
