Danfoss is looking for a Procurement Manager for EC&S Procurement Organization, who will be responsible for a range of effective and efficient implementations of new vendors from end-to-end, ensuring all expectations and deliverables are met.
With reference to the Procurement Manager, you will get a unique opportunity to be part of a project procurement organization, working with procurement and sourcing projects.
In this role you will become part of a global organization within the Electronic and Services division, currently consisting of two Procurement managers located in Denmark and one located in Poland.
These Procurement managers are responsible for end-to-end project management with cost reduction effects and timely deliveries.
The position could be located in Conegliano Veneto (TV) or Venice, Italy, but we expect that you are willing to travel if it is required for a specific meeting or task.
Your main focus will be to on-board new vendors respecting all legal aspects and ensuring the best commercial conditions for Danfoss.
You will be working both cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with all internal functions. The key challenge will be to successfully initiate and execute in a highly efficient on boarding process.
Timely completion while meeting quality and cost is of essence.
Key responsibilities :
Background & Skills
You hold a bachelor’s degree (Commercial / legal / Engineering) or higher. Furthermore, you have experience with procurement or related project management and have worked in the area for some years.
You have experience within manufacturing as well.
With your excellent analytical and project management skills, you have high drive and energy to continuously ensure progress.
Furthermore, you are able to work independently and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.
You will need to be robust in a dynamic environment, and be willing and able to mediate between, sometimes, differing stakeholder demands.
You have a positive and open-minded attitude, and we expect you to have solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Finally, you are dedicated, goal-oriented and thrive on working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
