What You Will Do :

  • Responsible for the adequate handling of direct materials (raw and packaging materials) within the site and ensure adequate stock and timely supply of them to the production lines and oversee the proper control of inventories
  • Ensure a high focus on employee’s safety standard and safety trainings
  • Ensure the operation planning, material handling, inbound and materials reverse logistic flow coordination
  • Drive internal site logistics activities in continuous alignment with production execution management. Manage these processes through the coordination of a team of resources able to guarantee the correct physical and accounting management of the warehouses, in compliance with group policy
  • Conduct supply analysis to identify global in-sourcing production opportunities by evaluating internal costs, constraints and capabilities
  • Coach, support and develop the local planning of 3 people . Improve motivation and professionalism of the team by collaborating in the yearly targets setting, evaluation of the results and developing a strong versatility within the group
  • Work closely with regional Supply Chain Planning teams to evaluate and timely address proper actions against capacity allocation.
  • Attend weekly and monthly Sales and Operations planning (SOP) calls

  • Check and approve indirect materials purchase orders up to 25k$
  • Manage the inventory levels by analysing excess or blocked stock and defining, installing and following up effective tactics
  • Lead and motivate the local planning team responsible of scheduling activities like material replenishment and production scheduling
  • Provide relevant and structured information to European Procurement and Supply Chain Planning team
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Scientific degree (Business, Engineering, Chemistry or Logistics)
  • 3+ years of experience in the role
  • Previous experience in managing a team
  • Italian mother tongue and good knowledge of English
  • Analytical Mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a Chemical Plant
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Strong communication skills
