Senior HR Business Partner - Southern Europe

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Coaching & advising management on people related matters.
  • As the face of HR in the field providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues
  • Partnering with District Managers in all matters related to recruiting, staffing optimization, performance management and development of the field team
  • Ensuring HR monthly HR KPI reports for the region are up to date, namely census and turnover
  • Leading disciplinary processes / legal cases, partnering with HR Operations team
  • Communicating back to CoE and Operations any feedback relevant to improve programs or implement additional support to facilitate sales
  • Driving talent mapping of field management population, challenging where necessary promoting a culture of mobility and succession
  • Formulating effective succession plans for must win doors
  • Visiting must win doors in region on a regular basis following visit plan ensuring visit supports action plan for the door
  • Visit stores in line with the HR visit schedule identifying and delivering on action points accordingly
  • Working with District Manager to develop pipeline of management candidates for must win doors
  • Ensuring all management vacancies are filled in a timely fashion
  • Communicating effectively across complex regions with multiple stakeholders to ensure clear direction and HR support
  • Dealing with HR queries which arise daily
  • Working closely with the local HR Operations team on additional projects and on day-to-day operations of the HR office
  • Partnering with the HR Operations team to deliver effective employee management relating to all employee relation and payroll matters
  • Maintaining HRIS (Workday) minimizing any data errors
  • Evaluating the outcomes of the HR Field Strategy and ensure it remains appropriate and in line with KPIs
  • Deputizing for the HR Director, Field at local level when necessary
  • Performing any additional duties as reasonably requested by HR Director, Field

  • Bachelor / master’s degree in human resources, preferable
  • 5-7 years of HR experience in a dynamic environment, preferably retail
  • Experience of managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines
  • Skilled analytical thinker with ability to critically assess requirements and select best fit’ approach to meeting organization HR needs.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment law, social security, regulations and HR best practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, advisory and organization skills
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance a variety of priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial person with strong customer service-based attitude
  • Collaborative team-worker
  • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken
  • Computer Literate Intermediate Excel & Power Point skills required
