As a Solution Consultant you will be responsible for the end to end creation, management and delivery of solutions for complex, often multi-practice deals, leveraging DXC’s portfolio of industry leading digital offerings and strategic partners.
You will ensure alignment across our client’s business objectives, the technical solution, and the contract / SOW to develop integrated, cost-effective solutions deliverable that meet the client's requirements and maximise DXC’s competitive advantage.
You will identify acceptable solution trade-offs and risks to both DXC and the client, and lead development of integrated transition and transformation plans.
Your demonstrated commercial acumen will be used to develop and negotiate SOWs / contract terms with the client.You will have a track record of delivering complex IT solutions, a broad skill set in different technologies and delivery models including Cloud, Applications, Analytics, Mobility, Security, declining these for specific Industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesProducing and maintaining the solution strategy, determining key differentiators to ensure fit with opportunity requirements and resolve client business challenges.
Owns the end result engaging and leading team of subject matter experts to achieve result.Interact with client stakeholders to qualify, influence and shape decision criteria.
Cerate relationship with DXC and Strategic and Solution Partners locally.Assistance to the delivery teams during transition.
Essential RequirementsAbility to build trusted relationships with CxO or Director level client executivesDeep understanding of the role of IT within at least one vertical industry segment.
Applies industry knowledge to solution, client presentations, and proposal content.Deep understanding of the transformative aspects of key digital technologies within a chosen industry vertical, and the ability to generate value from the disruption of core business process.
Strong leadership and ability to influence peers, team, organizational leaders and clients; constantly challenges the status quo.
Demonstrated ability to carry the room when presenting.Ability to work independently in small pursuit team or engaging and leading a team of subject matter experts.
Demonstrates expert knowledge across a wide range of IT services and solutions, confident understanding of the latest trends.
