Job Description Summary
In this role you’ll be part of the Aero Center of Excellence in the Gas Power CSA Cost & Productivity global organization.
This team is responsible for the Continuous Monitoring and Cost Catalog of the $1.6B Aero CSA portfolio, reporting through the CSA Business Line and working operationally with the Aero Services Business Line to drive an intense focus on cost execution within the Aero CSA portfolio.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Own and maintain the CSA catalog calculation processes that establish the financial forecast for Rotables, Overhauls, and the Comprehensive Service Fee for the different Aero technologies
Partner with modeling, finance, and Aero Services Operations to provide full visibility to data and drive consistent cost categorization, understanding, and action plans for both cost monitoring and CSA catalog purposes
Partner with Aero Services Operations to compare cost trends and identify drivers and outliers to predict potential risks and catalog impacts, defining the required mitigation plans
Work closely with Aero Services Cost & Productivity function through cost reviews, catalog reviews, target setting, productivity project implementation and process improvements
Build strong relationship with Aero Product Line and Regional teams on Catalog input processes and impact
Provide context and financial inputs to the Gas Power pacing process for CSA for Aero CSA productivity outcomes
Additional Responsibilities
Partner with Aero Transformation & Cost team for Rotables and Overhauls productivity plan implementation, identifying cost improvements for Catalog forecast
Deliver long-term pacing estimates for CSA productivity outcomes, based on long term productivity initiatives related to the three key Catalog fees
Establish a shared decision-making process with Aero Services Operations & PMOs through cost and cycle reviews, evaluating potential Catalog impacts and facilitating the best financial decisions (CM impact, CCU)
Develop expertise in the way Aero cost financial transactions are performed, driving a continuous improvement mindset to enable better automation tools for Catalog data calculation, including existing tool enhancements
Drive and promote a solid Cost tracking culture within the team together with counterpart in Aero Services Organization.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Business or Engineering
Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in an operations or analytical role in gas turbine services
EU Work permit
Desired characteristics
Demonstrated technical understanding of Aeroderivative gas turbines and familiarity with their operation and maintenance practices
Experience with Aero Business Line IT tools and systems (e.g. ERP)
Experience with CSA financial processes or tools (including ICAM / ConFIRM)
Excellent analytical, problem solving and process skills
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross functional and highly matrixed environment
Dynamic and flexible team player, embracing change
Strong oral and written communication skills.
