A typical day at work :
To monitor assembly technological evolutions for the Sector through continuous technological benchmark (e.g. application of collaborative robots;
IOT : connected equipment enabling in process quality control.);
To define the standard specification for tooling / equipment for the Sector and standard time-analysis framework and work-
elements based on UAS (MTM method) supporting the roll-out across the plants;
To drive Core Technologies Innovation roadmap with a focus on assembly equipment, time and method analysis (power tools, conveying system, AGVs, packaging equipment, manipulators, workbenches, etc.);
To confirm design feasibility (DFM) and provide alternative best cost solutions for new products and modules and to share and consolidate Best Practices and standard process solutions;
To support Process Engineering team developing new product industrialization project or re-engineering of existing processes according to Early Equipment Management / Early Product Management methods as part of the Electrolux Production System (EPS) Methods;
To support Advanced Process Engineering evaluations of the alternative scenario of total landed cost and related process investments (CAPEX) for assembly processes support Plant Process Developer / Integrator and cross-
functional industrialization team.

Education & Skills :
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or lean manufacturing;
Fluent English (French, German or Mandarin could be a plus);
Material Flow and Lean principles knowledge : to perform flow study throughout the process (within the Plant) including line-
side display, rack study, and density optimization;
Capacity to develop process layout with the use of 2D CAD system (e.g. AutoCAD) and to use 3D CAD environment to simulate process and workstations would represent a plus (e.
g. NX, Siemens Teamcenter Mfg, Tecnomatix, Process Symulate etc.);
Capacity to develop and evaluate cycle-time also starting from non-physical models (Digital Manufacturing and process simulation);
Capacity to assign timing to manpower operations based on cycle description during the engineering phase (e.g. MTM, UAS, etc.
or equivalent MOST, BASIC MOST, etc.) and the Chronometric approach with a capability to detect a correct evaluation of pace;
Basic knowledge of ergonomics analysis methods to be applied to the critical assembly process workstations (NIOSH, OCRA, Ergo EAWS, etc.)
Tools and equipment for various range of applications in assembly process with the ability to specify and develop in collaborations with toolmakers standard and specific application for non-
automation tooling (Manual Fixtures, Power Tools DC, Pulse and Air, Stud Welders, Rivet tools)
Able to design and study error-proofing processes, tooling, and equipment.
