Account Manager Insulation Systems (Balkans)

Huntsman have a new opportunity for an experienced Account Manager who is passionate about building sustainable business within our Insulation Systems department.

The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving both short and long term profitable business objectives, whilst working and acting in a safe, compliant and ethical way.

The focus of this position will be on the Balkans and the Account Manager will be responsible for building sustainable business in both volume and value perspective according to our PU2020 strategy, budget and plant objectives.

Additionally, as the Account Manager, you will :

  • Maintain the company standards regarding Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) and develop and implement a yearly EH&S plan with continued improvement targets.
  • Always act and do business in a safe and compliant manner, in line with ONEurope principles
  • Identify, monitor, track & deliver the 6 aspects of the Sales Excellence program at your relevant customers : Sales Leakage, Elimination of loss makers, Share of wallet, New business development / opportunities, Hexagon 2.
  • 0 project, Service levels implementation

  • Manage business for profitable growth following the GEMS principles of value creation and selling according PU 2020 strategy and directions set by the EAME Sales Manager and ensure thorough implementation
  • Ensure implementation and execution of Key Account Management for the selected accounts, without neglecting the local profitable accounts.
  • Cooperate with pricing office to provide required information and support Value Based Pricing calculations
  • Monitor production and selling costs, liaise with customer service, logistics and credit department to optimize profit and cash
  • Ensure customer complaints are dealt with effectively
  • Ensure that reliable management information and forecasts are produced and reported in OMP (Consolidated sales forecasts)
  • Have update market intelligence in their area keeping EAME Sales Manager regularly informed.
  • Requirements :

  • University degree with 5+ years business experience, or Bachelor of Science with 10+ yrs experience.
  • Strong Value selling mindset and Value selling skills, preferably in Specialty Chemicals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with people on all levels.
  • Strong Team player to closely interact with Technical Service, Supply Chain and Customer Service in order to identify and quantify added value delivered to our customers.
  • Proficient application of economical principles, commercial tactics and business strategies.
  • In depth knowledge of products and technologies relevant to her / his customer area
  • Able to work independently and structured with a strong drive to perform in a very dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English, Fluent in Romanian is highly preferable.
