The role is part of L2 Support Service team and is responsible for providing a service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving and managing technical escalations raised by the 1st line of support team (Service Desk / NOC).
  • Performing troubleshooting and analysis on data centre enviroments.
  • Identifies and resolves technical problems and fulfils requests following agreed procedures.
  • Managing vendors, providers and third-parties.
  • Apply standard process and procedures to fulfil requests from clients, adhering to service level agreements or operational agreements.
  • What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • Diploma, degree or relevant qualification in IT / Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
  • Fluent in Italian
  • Good level of English ( written and spoken)
  • CCNP-DC
  • Experience in Storage solutions ( NetApp - Dell - Emc preferred)
  • Experience in hypervisor technologies and VDI ( VMware)
  • Knowledge of main monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of Python, Poweshell and php
  • Experience in Network infrastructure
  • ITIL Foundation (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting and providing support required in Data Centre area within a medium to large ICT organisation
