Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements, Analysis and Design
  • Attend and contribute to or lead design and reviewprocess as appropriate with guidance, supervision from Product Consultancy.
  • Provide insight to solution design impacts on deliveryand make recommendations for ease of delivery and support.
  • Understands product capabilities / limitations andapplies to the solution design.
  • Produce project business and functional designspecifications under supervision.
  • Supervise the creation of comprehensive test plans aswell as the execution of said test plan in conjunction with or without a TestManager.
  • 2. Project Delivery

  • Support project manager in assessing, planning andorganising project workload to meet project commitments within agreedschedules, including own workload and that of others.
  • Support project delivery workloads on a day-to-daybasis, including liaison with insource / outsource resource while ensuringdocumented procedures are followed, including maintenance of projectdocumentation.
  • Takes Ownership of project issues and works towards aresolution of these with the support of a consultant
  • Is accountable for the quality of the projectdeliverables, and that the deliverables match the agreed specification.
  • Prepare reports for the Project Manager which they canuse to communicate
  • Proactively identify potential risks in achievingproject timescales, taking all possible action to minimise risk.
  • 3. Teamwork and Leadership

  • Supervise, where required, the people responsible forthe delivery effort by taking the lead in specific projects / support activity,ensuring that a best practice approach is taken in all situations
  • Acts as a mentor to project team members, guiding anddeveloping Analysts and Solution Analysts.
  • Input into regular appraisals and Personal DevelopmentPlans for project team,
  • Ensure communication of project issues and foster teamspirit and mutual co-operation.
  • 4. Client Communication

  • With the Project Manager, help to manage projectcommunication.
  • Meet with clients to present results, conclusions andrecommendations.
  • Lead client project reviews and delivery meetings.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing the client,ensuring that client commitments are understood and met as part of the project.
  • Manage client expectations at client peer level.
  • Produce and deliver meaningful content to capabilityteams through professional service communities
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years relatedexperience.
  • Skills

  • Experience of delivering numerous complex softwaresolutions across multiple industry verticals.
  • Advanced in the use of software configuration toolsand general purpose IT packages and also the practice of Test Planning andsupervising the execution of detailed test cases plus providing supportdocumentation.
  • Will have worked in the capacity of Test Lead.
  • Responsible for upkeep and addition to Test (bestpractice) and for spreading the knowledge about tools / processes that expeditetest activity / success
  • Understanding of systems, processes, applications andtechnology and how they support / impact solutions.
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, goodpresentation capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to travel.
