Main Scope : Site responsibility of all prototyping and testing. Ensure the safety standards are met as per industry, legislative or customer requirements and expectations.

Accountable for execution / implementation of testing / equipment strategy road map and testing processes. Capital planning and capacity planning with all product COE's.

Assuring global testing organization goals are communicated, actions implemented and lessons learned shared across all engineering test centers. Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing prototyping and testing teams and projects on site
  • Provide leadership in developing, maintaining and overseeing testing plans, process, and procedures to ensure product specifications are predictably and consistently, on time and in alignment to product line program teams and according with global standard and company strategies
  • Compile and analyze global customer requirements and test requirements
  • Support definition, implementation and development of planning tools and reporting tools
  • Procure new test equipment by working with internal purchasing and test equipment suppliers building based on specifications and schedule
  • Manage and monitor the global program operating costs and site operating costs basing on definited budget
  • Requirements, Qualifications & Competencies :

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Control engineering or other related background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive powertrain testing and validation is required. An experience in management is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in test execution / analysis and simulation tools / methods and on the test data acquisition and post processing software
  • Must have experience with equipment selection, choice of technology and economic appraisals
  • Ability to write clear, concise and accurate engineering reports, which include suitable conclusions and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of QMS (TS16949, QS-9000, ISO9001 etc), GD&T, QFD, DFM, DFA, DVP&R, DOE, DFMEA / PFMEA, Control plans.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, team working, leadership and supervisory skills, problem solving ability and flexibility
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
  • Willing to travel
