The Dealer Network Development - Planning Specialist reports to the Dealer Strategy & Performance Department of CNH Industrial Agriculture Network Development organization, supporting all AG Brands (Case IH, New Holland, Steyr) in Europe.
Africa and Middle East.
The role is responsible to lead with the ND Regions and DRMs (Dealer Relationship Managers) the definition of the network plan for EMEA Region.
Aligned with Brands’ positioning and product portfolio, the plan details the 4 main areas of the network development activities that will be executed : coverage, structure, performance and quality.
More in detail the role has to lead blueprint and greenfield studies, long term sustainability plans, business modelling and the development and implementation of key cross-brand projects
The Dealer Network Development - Planning Specialist will support CNH Industrial distribution strategy definition to drive EMEA dealer network quality and performance improvements that impact the Company’s annual results and volumes.
The position is also a contact reference as well as a support for network activities involving other CNH INDUSTRIAL cross brand functions and / or multiple Brands within each region : multi-brand communication processes and procedures are also in scope for the role.
Ensure that the existing target footprint for each region / market is in line with the dealer business model which was defined according to the Brands’ requirements.
In regions where the target footprint is unclear, support the ND Regional Leader to improve the coverage plan definition.
Merge Brand and competitive information to build benchmarks on network models used by market / country / region.
Coordination and support in management of multi brand distribution strategies in EMEA within ND and with other CNH INDUSTRIAL functions (i.e. Legal).
Monitor network actions and targets in place by Brand to ensure maximum alignment with the defined plan.
Support and coordinate ND Regional Leaders within the region in the preparation of Budget and / or Forecast data liaising also with the Network Intelligence responsible.
Define the dealer financial sustainability models that can be applied depending on the reference market while leveraging on all available information including the Business Management tool and CNHi Capital.
Ensure that a cross function monitoring system for dealers at financial risk is constantly active for all Brands and that best practices are shared between Brands.
Support in the resolution of major technical issues which might alter the roll out of the Business Management tool and coordinate the relationship with the CNH INDUSTRIAL suppliers.
Elaborate and / or update comprehensive reports on current commercial and financial status of the networks.
Support the definition and roll out of dealer standards, sales and after-sales processes and ensure, where needed, consistency between the Brands and / or Parts & Service.
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, or related fields. MBA preferred
5-7 years experience required.
Experience in management of retail distribution, including merge and acquisition planning
Excellent knowledge of GIS, Geo-marketing and data modelling tools
Good analytical and data processing skills
Understanding of dealers’ business operations
Understanding of financial statements and key financial KPIs
Understanding of legal dynamics ruling distribution systems
Available to travel within the assigned region and outside as needed
Fully proficient English language mandatory, other EU languages are an asset
