PRIMARY FUNCTION :
He / she will be responsible for the planning, implementation and control of Inbound and interplant transportation of components and spare parts from CNH Industrial suppliers to Plants and depots.
He / she will work closely with suppliers and carriers to manage deliveries, support shipment changes, deal with special / urgent requests and supplier / plant freight requirements.
He / she will also coordinate his activity with CNHi Plant / depots to make sure the transportation service is deployed as scheduled and is executed in the most optimized manner in order to achieve delivery deadlines and savings in freight costs.
He / she will operate using CNHi Transport Management System, based on Oracle technology or urgent planning tools
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Monitor shipping orders from suppliers and plants
Assist suppliers, carriers and plants entities in shipment changes
Optimize transportation activity to maximize savings
Assign shipments to contracted carriers and monitor the delivery to final destination; manage spot transport
Load transport requests in TMS / urgent planning system and assign shipments to the most competitive carriers
Resolve transportation issues / Claims management
Analyze shipment data to identify savings opportunities and process improvements
Manage transport KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
He / she has working familiarity with national / international road / rail transportation regulations and modes (i.e., Full Truck Loads, LTL / Groupage, multi-stop truckload and inter-modal, urgent transport equipment).
Good understanding of transport industry, customs operations and documentation is preferred.
Familiar with MS office tools
He / she will have proven English verbal, written and oral communication skills
Quick learner, service oriented, flexible and autonomous.
Operational approach is required, customer oriented
Logistic background, transport / material planning / customer service experience is preferred.
Strong Analytical skills are considered a plus.
