Job Description : Job title : Site Financial ControllerReports to : Site DirectorOrganization : Venator MaterialsLocation : ScarlinoJob Purpose : To provide financial control expertise and guidance to the site management team in areas of cost control, project planning and management and inventory valuation.
These duties to be executed within Venator’s policies on financial governance and also within the context of both local and USGAAP environments.
To provide a lead role at the site in promoting cash management principles, geared to a maximisation of company cash flows.
Principal accountabilities : Sponsorship of site SAP activities, especially any impact on reporting (FI / CO)To manage all month-end reporting related activities, ensuring timely submission of site results to group and qualitative reporting of variances in the financial result to Group ManagementEnsure all site management processes are subject to Venator Internal Control Process Standards, reporting and remediating any deficiencies alongside site management, Group Finance and Accounting Shared Services personnel.
Lead effective internal control management this including quarterly and annualPrepare , update and implement Site Delegation of Authority covering all aspect Of operations.
SOX testing and remedial actions.Provide effective site controlling support to all site management activities in order to control cost and reduce the overall cost base.
Manage the annual budgetary process and quarterly forecast process, ensuring clarity and accuracy in presentations to Group ManagementManagement of all product costing and inventory valuation processes within SAP in accordance with Group requirements & policiesTo conduct cost benefit analysis of revenue expenses.
Maintain and conduct regular site direct / indirect cost forecast. Evaluate Impact to financial result due to changes in management decisions.
Ensure all significant site capital expenditure requests are complete in terms of financial evaluation of both cost and projected benefitsEnsure all site fixed assets are controlled and accounted for in accordance with Venator policies & proceduresManagement of any local site controlling / accounting staffTo liaise with and to work on behalf of Accounting Shared Services in respect of any site compliance issues on legal, tax, treasury related mattersPlan and manage the local audit activity (Fiscal, Group and Statutory)DimensionsInternal Contacts : Key interactions with the site management as a member of the site Leadeship Team (SLT), with Accounting Shared Services and with Group Finance.

This allows the job holder to have gained sufficient skills in the key areas of management of a finance team, a full understanding of the commercial aspects of a successful business, project evaluation techniques and application plus experience in inventory valuation and control mechanisms.
