Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the IT Assistant will be to assist the Information Technology department with all aspects of technology as it relates to the Milan and all Italian managed offices, the European’s Region and BCG.

This includes user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, assisting with network and infrastructure maintenance, and all other technology needs.

The IT Assistant will be responsible for supporting and resolving issues related to laptops, iPhone, iPad and Unified Voice technologies (Cisco phone / Jabber ), and able to successfully troubleshoot issues both independently and in collaboration with all available resources.

    Now help desk tracking database; analysing call data to proactively identify improvement opportunitiesManaging local technology in order to increase reliability, security, interoperability, effectiveness of customer work while reducing costsSetting up AV equipment for internal / external meetingsSetting up office for new staff members and office movesAudit and control of inventory, as requiredMonitoring mobile device usageReporting and analysis
