We are looking for a Factory Supply Chain Manager to join our Power Grids business, location Monselice.
The selected candidate will be the primary factory responsible for strategic sourcing activities by ensuring material availability, delivery performance and cost competitiveness.
He / she will review regularly the demand and supply balance to anticipate changes and manage assigned spend with a short term and medium term sourcing strategy to meet targets on total cost of ownership, quality, and reliability of supplies.
Focus on materials and services costs and lead time control end to end from transformer tenders to invoice payments. Initiate and / or support implementation of material cost cutting and risk mitigation projects.
Collaborate with factory and Hub stakeholders to support the undertakings, project implementation.
Translate local material planning and local logistics requirements (MOQ, packaging, communication processes) into Service Level Agreement (SLA) with suppliers.
Lead company qualification and contractors qualification according to instructions for assigned spend. Lead on Production part approval process.
Own the interface of SCM function to Material Planning and activities in SE&OP (Sales Engineering Operating Planning process) meetings Sales Operating Planning process.
Anticipate changes to demand vs supply with adequate actions and communications measures to secure adequate supply.
Control of material costs and lead times at tender stage, in ERP master data and oversees invoices control rules (tolerances, etc.
Measure gaps tender / actuals investigate on root causes and take adequate corrective / preventive measures.
Own factory SCM performance tracking, report cost reductions and forecast according to PG / BL requirements.
Ensure (with HRBP) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates following HR policies and coordinate talent management and succession planning within assigned area.
Background as Buyer, Category Manager, Supply chain;
Profiles with experience in Sales will be taken in consideration as well;
5-10 (five-ten) years of relevant experience;
Fluent English and Italian;
Management and negotiation skills, ability to create and manage networks;
Good knowledge of SAP and Office Suite.
