PRIMARY FUNCTION :
The ASTRA Sales Specialist is responsible to increase sales in the area under his / her responsibility.
He / She will manage all the commercial activities in line with sales targets and company’s business plan.
He / she has to work in team with the Business Managers and the Brand Team.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible to achieve the volumes / margins target assigned;
Implements the sales strategy in order to increase sales volume by existing clients and new clients;
Develop new business in the area assigned;
Business development focus on new dealers and / or distributors appointment and new direct customers :
Be in regular and daily contact with current dealers, customers and local colleagues, maintain ongoing business relationships while prospecting new accounts;
Support the rolling forecast (PO process) in connection with the dealers / importers and manage the Planning, Forecasting, Ordering & Scheduling processes in connection with the Commercial Logistics Dept.
Ensure that vehicle specifications meet customers, operational and legislative requirements according to each area;
Acting as a Product Specialist for the ranges under responsibility, maintain up-to-date product knowledge among the value chain;
Promote a total offer solution by coordinating with quality, service and spare parts department for every sale;
Provide excellent customer service at all times;
Respect and ensure compliance culture and values of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
At least 3 years of commercial experience in commercial vehicles sales (of road preferred)
Sales with technical background;
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
