The Job's Mission

As a Product Specialist your focus is to support Indirect Channels in their promotional activities, creating new sales opportunity.

Working with Indirect Channels developing and monitoring periodically their action plan for every territory and pushing strategy and market creation.

Maintain market share, customer satisfaction, supports surgeons in the operating room and Indirect Channels promotion in the field with trainings and demos.

Your key responsibilities :

  • Maintaining market share and customer satisfaction of our existing customers within the assigned territory / customers
  • Create new sales opportunity
  • Support the organization of local event for education, targeting new stakeholder and NCS
  • Make constant reporting on sales evolution and budget to Manager through Business Review
  • Implement strategy at local level in coordinating with BUD, NSM / RSM, and PM
  • Manage and organize training for sales force and coordinate agents’ activity when required
  • Visit periodically the Customers and map Customers stakeholders
  • Proactively contribute to the sales and growth requested by Stryker for a specific area
  • Be in charge of a transversal project of a big area (North or Center South Italy or whole Italy) for a specific task, project, event, education
  • Knows the individual customer’s value drivers
  • Provide customer with ongoing advice and consultation, helps him to avoid potential land mines
  • Customer care for physicians, surgical / theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
  • Marketing programs implementation. Promotions, presentations, launching.
  • Organizing and conducting trainings, surgical / theatre participation, view surgeries and workshops
  • Coordination of the distribution and logistics of the product. (Conditionals, Deposits, Kits)
  • Controlling all the resources and materials of his related sales area. Optimization of the resources.
  • Regular reporting to Manager, on the evolution of the sales and investments, relevant information from the marketplace and adaptation to the circumstances of the market.
  • Interface between the external end users / suppliers and internal staff (Customer service, Tender & pricing, Logistics, inventory)
  • Send weekly update to Manager on pending orders of product already implanted (when applicable).
  • promoting and disseminating the culture of compliance (compliance with regulations and ethical behavior).
  • fulfill the quality policy and comply with company’s standard operative procedures with particular attention to the Vigilance ones
  • What are we looking for?

  • You hold a degree in Engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing or related experience / training in a medical, scientific, technical field
  • You already have gained at least 1 year of experience in the Medical Devices sector, ideally covering sales and / or marketing roles
  • Ideally you have developed professional experience in the Orthopedic field (Trauma, Spine, Sports Medicine, )
  • You have already experience or you are keen to acquire experience in providing support to surgeons in the operating room
  • Native Italian speaker with intermediate level of English - B2 minimum
  • You appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and have a talent for building and maintaining networks.
  • You are able to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values.
  • Ability to manage professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Positivity and a willingness to roll up the sleeves
  • Solid competences with Microsoft Office, especially with Power Point and Excel
  • You are curious and you have a strong need to always learn and develop yourself.
  • You are a natural networker who is able to communicate effectively as well as to build up and develop relationship with multiple and different stakeholders as well as influence them.
  • You are strong in project management, and you believe in solutions not in problems.
  • Be aware that the interviews might be conducted in both Italian and English.
