Regional Segment Marketing Manager Conditioning EMEA Job Description Danfoss Cooling is looking for a Regional Segment Marketing Manager Air Conditioning EMEA.
The role is based ideally in Trèvoux (Lyon region), France or, alternatively in Turin, Madrid, Offenbach or Bologna. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a robust knowledge of Air Conditioning and Heat pump markets through market research, competition analysis, sales teams and customer visits Lead & develop regional market insights including trends, regulations & competition Build, document, analyze & continuously update market sizing fact packs and heat maps for the relevant business segments Implement and secure winning Regional mid to long term Strategies for the relevant Business Segment i.
e. Air Conditioning & Heat Pump in alignment with global segment marketing team Formulate regional growth plans along with Sales & Sales drivers focusing on new business development and increasing / sustaining share of wallet with current customers.
Lead and secure effective regional Product Launch in close collaboration with Sales team and Sales drivers team Propose new Product Development (One-Pager) and ensure business segments have the right product portfolio for the future in coordination with the Global Segment Marketing team.
Propose and take Product decision that drive growth and profitability of existing product ranges Liaise closely with the Sales Drivers and / or Sales team to secure an aligned operational strategy implementation in the Region (pricing / product launch / value proposition / market information) Assess, coordinate and support the development of the opportunity pipeline for the introduction of new products - Identify and develop new market opportunities, both in terms of products and services for new customer segments.
Work in close co-operation with the regional marketing communication team to support the strategy implementation Leverage appropriate resources at different levels and functions of internal stakeholders cross-product lines / sales, marketing and technical supporting team in country to lead the optimized Danfoss solutions to influence customers Leverage industrial networking and relationship building to improve Danfoss brand awareness Build network with similar functions in other regions and secure knowledge sharing and efficiency.
Key Requirements Master’s degree preferred in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering with a good understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
Analytical and conceptual ability to link technical and business intelligence to pricing, innovation and value propositions.
Strong understanding of HVAC system applications Strong business and project management orientation Strong communication and coordination skills both with local Sales Org.
