Within the Engineering Department, Application Engineers provide highly qualified technical post sales support to both external and internal customers.
NI Technical Support is a key value added service that ensures customer success and repetitive business. As an Application Engineer you will gain a deep knowledge of NI products and apply that expertise to solving our customers' problem and challenges, providing technical consultation and being a recognized instructor of NI Customer Education portfolio.
Deep understanding and learning of NI products portfolio through a formal initial training program and a continuous improvement attitude.
Understand customers' problems or challenges, find a communicate creative technical post-sales solution to maximize customer satisfaction and follow-
up with customer to provide a great user experience.
Teach high value customer education courses at NI, NI Regional Training Centers or customer location.
Support internal customers : Sales : providing technical support, developing Proof of Concepts (POC's), generating highly qualified sales leads.
Marketing : attending and presenting at seminars and roadshow.
Master degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Computer, Biomedical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering.
A thorough understanding of electronics and high-level programming languages.
Problem solving, fast learning, communication and presentation skills, customer-orientation, pro-activity, enthusiasm, continuous improvement attitude, team work.
