Role Summary
Incoming Inspection of major buyouts and related processes (Supply Chain, Project execution and Receiving Standards and Customer compliance)
Responsibilities & Requirements
Execute :
Certified final inspection of skids, internal and witnessed
NDE (for Casting, Forging, Machining, Pressure casing) : Visual and Dimensional, Hardness, PT, MT, RX review, PMI
Material certificates and related performed test review
Discuss inspection results with manufacturing, supply chain and engineering
Recommend adjustments to the production process
Report inspection and test data on daily basis
Acceptance or rejection of inspected items
NCR issuing and segregation for materials that fail to meet specifications
Inspection with third party
Support :
QC-In process & QC-Doc Teams to capture in time possible missing docs / controls and ensure on time delivery
Production and Planning Teams to daily monitor the projects progress and promptly take any possible recovery plan that will be necessary in case of delay in order to reach the OTP
QA in the analysis and implementation of corrective / preventive actions based on Customer Complain or Internal Non Conformities
QA in the review of internal procedure and specification
ISTP initiative in the Plant and participate actively to SFM
Metrology and development of measurements method and instruments.
Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering for review and improvement of manufacturing process (machining,
balancing, hydrotest, welding, assembly)
Analysis and implementation of corrective / preventive actions based on Customer Complain or Internal Non Conformities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Technical diploma or Degree
Read technical drawing and specifications
Experience in Quality Control Inspection at least 5 years.
Knowledge of API, ASME standards, Machine Directives and quality system
Passion for mechanics (material, technologies, machines)
Initiative, problem solving and team working inclined
Attitude to work in the factory environment
Italian fluent, English intermediate
Preferred Experience / Skills :
Welding inspector
Good knowledge of metrology
Good understanding of quality method (DMAIC, problem solving, FMEA, MSA )
Basic knowledge of 3D inspection
Basic knowledge of main Oil& GAS products & standards (in particular pumps)
Limited knowledge on hydraulic
