Summary of Internship

The objective of the Supply Chain Internship Program is to provide interns challenging and rewarding supply chain experiences to develop practical analytical, leadership and functional skills.

During the internship, participants are provided with on-the-job professional and leadership responsibilities while working on assignments with measurable business impact.

The paid internship will provide participants with exposure to ERP systems, Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and Production Control activities and assignments aligned with the strategic objectives of the Monza Site Supply Chain function.

Essential Functions

  • Supply chain analysis in support of network design, supplier performance and order management
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain's performance, and support processes and methods to gather supply chain data, analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
  • Assist in sales analysis, forecasting metrics, and support creation & development of improved SIOP processes and setting appropriate inventory targets
  • Working with the Supply Chain Manager and buyer / planners to develop and implement business process improvements such as production scheduling and reporting, and Sourcing initiatives
  • Monitor customer service metrics and analyze performance gaps related to assigned product lines
  • Assists in implementation of Supply Chain Housekeeping processes, including maintenance of ERP master planning data (lot size, safety stocks, reorder points, lead times, etc.)

  • Qualifications

    Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Computer Sciences (or a student pursuing this degree)
