PROJECT QUALITY MANAGER
Has responsibility fordeveloping and guaranteeing the Quality Management System for the assignedProject, in compliance with the corporate System for Management of Quality andthe contractual requirements.
He is the focal point for Project QualityManagement, Quality Control&Assurance and Construction Quality Coordinationaims, managing the project activities related to Quality concerning meetings,the schedule and the time budget.
He has the task ofsuggesting improvements to the corporate quality system, working in closecontact with the project group.
He is also responsible toensure the application of appropriate preventive and corrective actions atsite, when needed.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Develop the project Qualitymanagement system, in compliance with the corporate system and with thecontractual requirements;
Prepare and present to theClients the Project Quality Plan and the Schedule for the Project Audits, inagreement with the Project Manager;
Interface with the Clientand with Third Parties, as a representative of the Project Manager, for alltopics regarding quality;
Monitor and evaluate theeffectiveness of the Project Quality Plans by means of planning, execution andfollow-up of the Project Inspections;
Manage the projectprocedures, especially in relation to coordination, control of variations,control of documentation, tested for compliance with the Project Quality Plan;
Manage the performance ofthe Audits with Vendors and Subcontractors, when required;
Ensure the adoption and thecompletion of any corrective actions;
Guarantee that the projectstaff are fully familiar with the Project’s Quality System;
Manage the project activitiesrelated to Quality concerning meeting the schedule and the time budget.
Collect evaluation elementsfor the operation of the project management system and formulate and promotewith the PM and the project team actions for improvement;
Collaborate with the Project Manager inthe application of the Project Confidentiality Plan;
Collaborate with the Project Team in theLesson Learnt process;
To ensure Site Quality Plan preparation,its adequacy and application at Site, arranging any reviews, if required;
5 / 8 years experience in a similar roleand in a similar business;
A direct experience on site isconsidered a preferential requirement
Engineering technical degree is required
