We are currently looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director to join the Regional Customer & Market Insights (CMI) team, covering Europe, Canada & Partner Markets (ECP).
You will be a CMI Business Partner to key business functions within the Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Business Unit, as well as Global HQ and affiliates in Europe, Canada & Partner Markets (ECP).
Furthermore, you’ll drive strong decision support, based on strategic analysis, market research, forecasting, business execution insights, performance outcomes and competitive intelligence.
The position can be based anywhere in the European Union.
Be strong CMI Business Partner to key business functions, ensuring solid understanding of the business and driving decisions based on facts and insights
Drive and lead ECP CMI strategic insight generation processes, via qualitative and quantitative analysis of multiple data sources
Identify Insight gaps / needs for your business unit, and design & deliver market research to address
Plan and execute strategic market research in close collaboration with Regional and Global Business Partners, to better understand Biogen and competitor products
Provide rigorous assessment and diagnosis of brand and market dynamics, presenting insights and recommendations
Develop and ensure key performance indicators are in place for brands and execution initiatives to ensure learning loops and insights gathering
Build guidance and foster best practices sharing to drive strong CMI processes and initiatives across ECP region, affiliate and Global
Develop key market assumptions and guidance, to be used in strategic long-range forecast for the Region. Work closely with Global HQ to provide recommendations to Senior Leadership
Executes projects as Project Manager with key stakeholders. These could cover CMI improvement projects, Business improvement Projects such as Customer Journeys, or functional development projects with stakeholders in Medical, Multichannel Excellence, Marketing, FFE or others
Support onboarding new team members across region, with the Head of CMI
Core competencies / skills :
8-10 years relevant experience within a life science company or consulting firm, with specific focus on driving insights and decision making
Experience within specialty care. Neurology and ideally Rare disease is a strong advantage
Strong competencies in driving market research
Expertise in managing people directly or indirectly through complex projects or matrix organizations
Broad understanding of pharmaceutical data, including market research data, and which source to leverage in order to answer business questions most effectively
Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure and innovative delivery
Highly collaborative must be able to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills, particularly executive presentation skills
Driven, highly self-motivated, confident, high-energy, bright and creative individual with desire and ability to make an impact on the business
