As a Technology Segment Leader, you will define and lead our strategy on a trending and high growth technology to position Arrow as the leading and preferred technology provider to our customers.
You will engage with our industry leading suppliers, partners, field teams and technology experts to develop programs, education, tools and end-to-end solutions to drive demand creation in EMEA.
You will be expected to reframe their thinking and build consensus, co-creating value by delivering the freedom to innovate.
Build and execute the technology strategy
Understand the current technology landscape worldwide, in EMEA and regionally
Identify and understand current and future high growth target applications for the technology
Position suppliers into the Arrow’s technology strategy
Identify new suppliers to fill potential gaps
Build and execute strategic technology business growth plans
Enable Arrow Sales to identify and win new designs and business
Engage at key customers to support winning strategic opportunities
Build and align regional plans to address white space, recommending relevant suppliers to win in the competitive landscape
Branding and lead generation
Develop content for customer seminars, campaigns, digital marketing
Build influential business relationships
Enable & build influential business relationships with key stakeholders at suppliers, customers and within Arrow
The ideal candidate is based near an Arrow office location in Frankfurt, Munich, London, Paris, Madrid or Milan and is willing to travel internationally up to 50% of time.
In addition the candidate brings to the role :
10 + years of experience working within the electronics industry
relevant technical experience and education
experience and understanding of European electronics markets
knowledge about leading edge technologies and solutions
excellent communication and influencing skills
good English both spoken and written
