As Head of Information technology, you will be responsible for all aspects of IT in Electrolux Professional. This includes setting the overall IT strategy in support of the business strategy, executing this strategy successfully, optimizing the IT organization, clearly establishing key IT processes including make vs buy trade-

offs, build and manage a vibrant IT vendor community, ensure cybersecurity at the highest level, deliver within agreed budget and manage a broad and engaged senior business stakeholder team.

As the market for powered and connected appliances develops, the digital roadmap of EPR is evolving quickly and opportunities for innovation are to be found across all company functions.

At an overall level, digitalization can be leveraged in the products themselves (connected appliances and IoT solutions), in marketing and the consumer journey (digital marketing, consumer 360 experience) as well as in the enterprise area (digital manufacturing, digital supply chain, RPA).

As digital transformation accelerates across the business, this, in turn, is driving the need for close alignment and co-

operation between business and technology teams on a wide range of initiatives. Key focus areas can be summarized as follows :

  • Ownership Experience (the pre-purchase / purchase / post-purchase consumer experience, connected appliances, CRM / single view of a customer, and consumer insights);
  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain (Industry 4.0, workforce engagement optimization);
  • Standardization and efficiency (continuous efficiency improvements, reducing complexity, etc.);
  • Improve delivery excellence using new technologies and opportunities to further enhance the consumer experience and Electrolux business.
  • As a result, EPR has (is implementing)* implemented a new IT organization structure based on a strong central IT team providing Group-

    level shared services across the organization.

  • As EPR strives to digitally enable its business in every unit and function and across all channels to market, the CIO will be one of the key leaders on this journey;
  • creating a best-in-class IT organization, and focusing on enabling integrated front-to-back capabilities so as to deliver streamlined customer experience.

    The following three key priorities for the role have been identified :

  • Lead the digital transformation of IT and business in EPR , including identifying and harnessing technology trends and opportunities that help grow EPR's business, with initiatives such as building digital marketing, connected appliance ecosystems, next level manufacturing & supply chain (Industry 4.
  • 0) and exploiting cloud-based solutions

  • Act as a business partner and natural focal point of contact for the global IT organization, partnering with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, identify and prioritize projects based on key criteria (return on investment, productivity, compliance, etc.
  • and ensure reliable and timely delivery of the project portfolio;
  • Shape the organization and develop teams and individuals to support current and future IT and business needs. Build bridges between the digital and traditional parts of the business, to stimulate thinking about how to integrate digital effectively to create a seamless external and internal experience and structure.
  • This includes external partnerships.

    changing company, that provides excellence in commercial kitchens, beverage and laundry solutions, and to shape and influence the future of IT organization, as well the Company more broadly.

    The role will report to the CFO and be part of the EPR management team. It will be responsible for a team. A key initial focus area will be the design and implementation of the new IT landscape in EPR, such as setting up the future infrastructure, security, vendor management office and application support structures.

    Many of these core components will need to be put in place specifically for EPR as the new company is formed. The current landscape consists primarily of purpose-

    built companywide ERP solution, state of the art CRM, traditional manufacturing solutions and a number of key applications shared with the Electrolux Group.

    The largest locations are Sweden, Italy, USA, and Thailand.

    You are a dynamic, strategic and proactive leader, able to shape the digital agenda, and provide a bridge between IT and business to interpret and define strategy and drive execution.

    You will lead and develop a highly capable IT organization that operates effectively as a partner to the business, and which adds incremental value through increasing productivity and innovating across the IT space with a special focus on digital transformation.

    You possesses a strong executive presence and are capable of engaging with colleagues and senior management to shape a digital agenda based on business priorities.

    EPR is particularly interested in candidates that can bring experience in moving from legacy environments to advance based digital solutions, and for driving projects where technologies such as IoT, analytics, automation, connected devices, online commerce and mobile have been used to increase efficiency and create new functionality (for example in the exploitation of data from connected consumer devices).

    This is a critical appointment and requires a leader with exceptional skills in technology, innovation, change management and people leadership.

    With experience within a large-scale, international and highly complex environment, the successful candidate will have led substantial global change initiatives that create step-

    change improvements in company performance through the innovative application of technology.

    Education & experience

  • BSc / BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field
  • High impact executive with international experience at scale across multiple geographies, preferably gained within a customer-focused organization.
  • Proven track record of defining and leading company-wide technology transformation and business change initiatives underpinned by innovative application of digital, analytics and enterprise platforms.
  • Strong business partner to senior leaders, with experience of developing technology strategies and programs that deliver value.
  • Business-aligned, commercial, customer and solution focused; achieves consensus for change across diverse stakeholder groups, creates pace, and fosters a collaborative and positive working environment across diverse groups.

  • Strong business acumen and working knowledge of business functions and processes (Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply chain, etc.).
  • Able to compare, analyze and prioritize effectively and to provide strategic solutions that can balance competing requirements around speed, quality, cost, innovation and simplification.
  • Able to translate strategy into meaningful programs of work and drive to completion, with a demonstration of effective portfolio governance, change management, the evolution of business processes and delivery of business benefits on time and on budget.
  • Strong people management skills preferably gained in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplined environment.
  • Strong appetite for change management, driving digital transformation of the current IT team and legacy IT.
  • Strong internal and external customer orientation able to simplify complexity when explaining initiatives and projects.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environment with enterprise and business unit leadership to influence and drive a broad strategic agenda.
  • Well-developed financial and commercial management skills.
