Definition and evaluation of assigned engine sub-system / architecture
Design, development and release of assigned system
Track and status of system development activities
Technical expert for assigned systems
Possible engine systems :
Fuel Injection Equipment
Electronic controlled engine fan clutch
Definition and evaluation of system architecture / specs
Definition and tracking of system validation (either virtual and physical)
Tracking of system development&status, assigned risk mitigation charts and reporting to area Engine Project
Support PE Function on definition of components requirements, application target, test results and control&calibration
Support for troubleshooting guidelines
Support for development and field quality issues
System architecture and specs confirmation are relevant for technical project target achievement before the E-SOP
Validation ensure functional and reliability of the system
Tracking of development, monitoring of the status, managing of development issues (risk mitigation chart) provide clear status to engine project function along the FDP milestones

Internal technical meeting participation : supporting with presentation, test result evaluation, status&tracking
Internal technical meeting organization : supporting with presentation, test result evaluation
External technical meeting w / Customer for verification of portion of the system vehicle side
External technical meeting w / Supplier of components used into the system
Internal technical reporting at Management level
Requirements (including education, competences & years of experience) :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive.
Very good knowledge of English language (written and spoken).
Experience on engine system team
Knowledge of drawing, mechanics and FMEA.
Knowledge of MS-Office.
Working knowledge of EMS and related tools and software (INCA, AVL Concerto, database management, SW Documentation)
Travel Requirements (National / International / Expected % of time) :
Available to business travel (National and International) required
Available to travel in other FPT location (i.e. Arbon)
