The Humanoid Sensing and Perception Research Line at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia is opening a Post Doc position on the study and development of algorithms for object grasping and manipulation.
The selected candidate will join the interdisciplinary team of the iCub project (). We are looking for talented and enthusiastic candidates who will work within our team with the aim to advance the capabilities of our robots to grasp and manipulate objects, using grippers as well as dexterous hands.
This work will be implemented and validated experimentally using the robotic platforms available in the laboratory, namely iCub (), R1 () and Panda Arm from Franka Emika.
