The company is a leading provider of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Monitoring Radar solutions worldwide.
We are looking for a FPGA & Embedded Design Engineer who will be part to R&D area. His main role will be designing electronic boards for GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and Interferometric radar equipment.
What we want you to do
The candidate will participate to the whole lifecycle of the product (design, development and testing, start of production, lifecycle management) with special reference to :
Designing digital systems for signal processing and control
Developing and testing FPGA code
Developing and testing C code for microcontroller / microprocessors
Designing and testing electronic circuits and boards relevant to digital systems
Preparing design and code documentation
Resolving design / manufacturing / supplier issues
The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following :
Define, develop, evaluate and verify designs to meet product requirement
Develop specifications, test methodologies, and test equipment to evaluate design concepts
Participate on corrective action teams to resolve product issues
Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sites
Additional duties may be assigned from time to time
We would like to see :
Degree in Electronic Engineering
English : good skills on spoken and written
Experience (+3 years) in the same field
Proficient in VHDL language
Proficient in C language
Experience with FPGA development on Altera or Xilinx devices
Experience with verification methodologies, RTL and gate level simulations and debug
Experience with common design flow : code, synthesis, place & route, timing constraints
It will be a plus :
Basic knowledge of Labview or Python scripting
Hands on experience with lab debug equipment
Experience in radar or image signal processing
Experience with ARM or AVR architectures
Experience with high data rate interfaces, like JESD, PCIe, MIPI, etc..
