Medical Scientific Liaison - North Italy
PURPOSE OF POSITION
As Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) you will be responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) through appropriate high level scientific exchange of information, education, publications, evidence generation and other such non-
promotional medical affairs activities in a fair and non-promotional manner, developing long-term partnership with medical community for benefit of patients.
Provide clinical and medical-scientific information, responding to HCP requests and delivering credible and unbiased clinical / scientific support
Represent company medical department in the relevant territory, participating to local, regional, national and international congress and providing post-
congress summaries and critical insights to internal colleagues in a timely manner
Engage with external stakeholders (KOLs, healthcare authorities, patients associations, etc.) leveraging a variety of channels -
including digital - in line with the internal policy to maximize customer experience
Support the sponsored studies and proposed Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS)
Educate, support and update sales force on relevant medical scientific information
Contribute to the development of brand medical plan in line with the brand strategy and support marketing activities
Ensure that local Medical Affairs activities are compliant with national and local regulations, maintaining high professional standards of conduct, in line with company policies and procedures
Works collaboratively and cross-functionally with other internal colleagues to deliver excellent customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED
Degree in Medicine, Medical / Pharmaceutical Biotecnology or a similar Healthcare degree
At least 5 years of experience in this role, preferably within relevant therapy area
Strong scientific approach and background that allows to quickly understand the disease area and its competitive landscape along with the local healthcare system
Understanding of the clinical development process and statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs
Fluency in written and spoken English
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent IT skills with the ability to work effectively with and leverage modern technology
Collaboration and influencing.
We offer a permanent contract, the salary will be evaluate based on the experience in the current role.
