We are looking for a Warehouse and logistic Manager to join our Electrification Business in Smart Power, located in Terranuova Bracciolini.
The selected candidate will manage and ensure the correct local business unit (LBU) logistics process flow of information and products in order to achieve defined targets for customer service level, operation costs and inventory levels.
Planning : Identifies, implements and leads opportunities / logistics improvement projects to streamline flow across the entire supply chain.
Sets up and manages integration of transport and logistics suppliers and customers within the supply chain.
Operations : Ensures optimization of warehousing, loading and shipping operations whilst ensuring all local operations are performed to respective quality standards and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and a safe workplace.
Service providers : Identifies, selects and manages local logistics service providers to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in relation to quality, cost and service standards.
Costs : Monitors, reports and optimizes total logistics costs within area of responsibility.
Product design and development : Ensures Logistics is represented in key business decisions and that Logistics requirements / constraints are being taken into account in product development and design.
Budget and performance targets : Delivers on budget and targets within the framework. Ensures the T&L sourcing performance targets are achieved.
People leadership and development : Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
Manages the succession planning for lead SCM positions in the Division / Business Unit / Product Group. Coordinates talent management processes regionally with Divisions / Business Units / Product Groups.
A relevant experience of 2 / 3 years, preferibly in automotive o mechanic sector;
A good knowledge of Lean Manufactoring, Six Sgima, continual improvement process;
Used to work according to deadlines and KPIs;
A good knowledge of English language;
SAP knowledge is a plus.
