The Key Account Manager has FCA account responsibility and his / her key focus is around analysing the client’s situation and business requirements through awareness, empathy and good questioning.

He / She has the ability to influence client to use Dimension Data’s solutions through articulating value in the client’s terms.

Over and above this, he / she has above average co-ordination skills to co-ordinate the interaction of a number of Dimension Data role-

players in different geographies during the sales engagement. He / She has a holistic plan for interaction with the client and facilitate the complexity of the sales process by acting as a leader when required.

What you'll be doing

Establish account strategy

Key Account Manager uses their engagement skills to establish their account strategy with key stakeholders. He / She displays an understanding of the client industry, business environment and strategy to identify current and future opportunities for Dimension Data.

Client satisfaction

He / she drives passionately for client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients’ buying process, by taking ownership for the commercial agreement.

Generate demand

He / she is able to generate demand by assisting client to identify current needs and then effectively articulate how Dimension Data can add value through our services and solutions.

Grow account profitably

Key Account Manager approaches the management of his / her account in a systematic way by identifying the strategy they will use to develop and grow the account profitably.

Sales administration

he / She uses Dimension Data’s sales tools (e.g. Salesforce.com) and methodology to effectively manage their account, opportunities, pipelines and forecast.
