A highly successful and geographically disperse R&D department seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join them in Milan.
We are working on cutting edge products within TrueSight Capacity Optimization. The product covers a wide range of features for Capacity planning of Data-
centers and Private / Hybrid Cloud systems for many global organizations and banks.
In this role, you will :
Learn the purpose, features and use cases of the product to be tested
Design test plans and strategies for functional and non-functional validation
Work with Developers and other Quality Assurance team members for validation of product functionality, via manual or automated execution of test cases
Write test automation scripts using automation framework for regression testing. We are targeting as much as possible automation of test cases so that testing becomes repeatable and the QA Engineer can focus on maintaining and evolving the test suite and the scripts associated
Track all discovered issues and defects, and validate fixes provided by developers
Document test results
Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA practices
Interact with a global development team and collaborate with other teams in USA, Europe, Asia
Required skills :
2 years' experience in testing Enterprise software products and in particular web applications
Experience in Test Strategy, test planning, test cases creation, execution, defect reporting
Ability to perform various types of testing - feature, integration, Install-upgrade, regression, database, PSR testing.
Good knowledge on Relational Databases / SQL
Good knowledge of Unix / Linux OS
Experience with test automation scripting frameworks (Robot, Selenium, Sikuli or others)
Experience in Python and Linux / Unix shell scripting
Domain expertise in Infrastructure Management a plus
Good proficiency in English language is required
