The Group Investments Asset and Wealth Management Auditperforms Internal Audit activities on Investments process across the Group andprovides services of the Internal Audit function for the Asset ManagementCompanies of the Group.
Take accountability for delivering audit activities fromrisk assessment to plan and engagement execution and provide assurance to TopManagement on the respective control environment.
Overall activities :
Involved in business and governance changeprojects, providing controls and risks consultancy;
Analyzes, proposes, and recommends changes topolicies and procedures in order to maintain the structure of internal controlsand conform to applicable external regulations;
Stays up-to-date with changes in the AssetManagement industry and analyzes the impact of those changes on the business.
Risk Assessment :
Contributes, using breadth and depth ofknowledge of the Asset Management business, to the internal audit riskassessment, by providing a detailed understanding of risks faced withinrespective area of responsibility;
Annual Planning :
Contributes to annual plan development andmaintenance;
Audit Engagements :
Responsible for planning, scoping and deliveringof the most complex audit engagements identified in the plan;
Accountable for quality and delivery of auditwork;
Responsible for making professional judgments / decisions throughout the audit, ensuring such judgments / decisions aredocumented and managing / escalating issues (as needed);
Responsible for monitoring the issuesresolution;
Responsible for overseeing the audits within therespective area of responsibility;
Reports and escalates risks and issues asappropriate;
Responsible for agreement of final audit reportsand corrective actions with Top Management and ensuring agreed actions aretracked and implemented;
Reports on activities throughout the year to theHead of Investments and Asset Wealth Management Audit and to the TopManagement;
Relationship with Top Management and other control functions :
Responsible for managing good relations with TopManagement and external auditors;
Responsible for monitoring the collaborationbetween the Audit function and the Risks teams to guarantee that the evolvingInternal Audit program reflects the changing pattern of risks and addressescurrent and emerging priorities;
Responsible for monitoring that the Auditfunction works in partnership with other functions to ensure a coordinatedapproach to Audit activities and the availability of technical information andresources to support a thorough Audit process
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements :
Must have :
Advanced University education in BusinessAdministration / Accounting or Finance / Engineering
Good technical knowledge of Asset Management andinternal control processes
Previous experience (minimum 10 years’) inexternal / internal audit (Asset Management entities, Banks) or previousexperience in Asset Management industry or Banking.
Fluent in English
Good knowledge of computer work and advancedcommand of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)
International mindset and availability to travelup to 50% of working time
Nice to have :
Any other foreign languages (French / German)
Experience with forensic auditing andprofessional certification (ACCA,CIA,CISA,CFE)
