What you will do
Our insightful intelligent BMS technologies are designed to listen to what a building is saying about its condition. They collect and analyze data and then provide insights on how to improve and control your building’s efficiency and productivity.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of building control systems to meet the intent of the project requirements within the Rome area.
How you will do it
Develop software programs, commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system
Design and configure the building control as defined by the contract documents
Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required
Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per the intent of the project requirements
Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation
Select, order, and track the delivery of materials for assigned projects
Load and commission system and network-level controllers as required
Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation
Provide field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software
Keep management, our contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues
Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors
Perform site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system
What we look for
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an associate degree in a related technical field with 3 years of relevant work experience
Good knowledge of network and security systems and exposure to a variety of systems across a range of manufacturers
Very good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
Good attention to detail in order to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales
An enthusiastic team player who is able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach at all times
Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
Fluent English and Italian is mandatory
Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
Full EU driving license
Rome, Italy most of the work is located in the office, some travelling will be required.
