  • Functional Details

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Co-ordinate internal resources to ensure the customers needs are satisfied, whilst ensuring that Eurotech’s business interests are maintained
  • Manage the communication with Customers during the entire project lifetime
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans
  • Determine and assess the need for additional resources as necessary during the project cycle
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Conduct retrospective analysis and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to ensure failures are not repeated
  • Other Functions

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, sales account managers, and senior management in a timely and clear fashion
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results and trouble shoot problem areas
  • Ensure that engineering documentation is complete and up-to-date
  • Co-ordinate Engineering effort to resolve any customer issues
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  • Continuously review the product and look for cost savings and improvements as well as introducing newer technology into the product
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Required Qualifications

  • Degree level qualified in an Engineering related subject
  • 2-years work experience in a project management capacity, including all areas of process development and execution
  • Have sufficient experience to demonstrate the required level of capability in each of the key competence areas above
  • Preferred Experience & Skills Required

  • Broad understanding of electronic hardware and software
  • Excellent MS Project, Redmine, Clarizen or similar project management tool
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management and the ability to manage multi-disciplined teams
  • Ability to coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors
  • Experienced at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
  • Ability to elicit co-operation from a wide variety of sources, including engineers, upper management, customers and other departments
  • Ability to resolve conflicts within the project team should they arise
  • Strong written and oral skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Adept at conducting research into project related issues and products
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment is crucial
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach during times of change and encourage others to follow

    Amaro (UD) based with travel to customers, suppliers and sub-contractors, both in the Italy and overseas, and Group companies as required.
