Role and Responsibilities
The Southern Europe OEM Account Manager will be responsible for managing Seakeeper’s business together with the sales team within the Southern Europe region.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Targeted outreach to OEM Shipyards for new opportunities, visiting them and their dealers, maintain, deepen, growth and improve business and turn over.
Introduce Seakeeper to Shipyards. Grow SK2 and SK3 business within the territory and introduce the SK26 and SK35 to M / Y models.
Grow business within the Southern Europe commercial and military boating world.
Support sales activities of new and existing OEM boat builder accounts in recreational and commercial boat market sectors.
Develop Southern Europe countries where Seakeeper sales and support network growth is needed.
Actively recruit, develop and keep contacts with OEM and Key accounts SE.
Join events and international boat shows.
Meet quarterly and semiannual growth targets.
Complete monthly and semi-annual outlook, opportunity and travel reports.
Weekly report to the Sales and Service Management
Prepare quarterly forecasts and sales strategies.
Organize sea trials and Seakeeper’s demo boat events in region, together with the marketing department.
Assist in developing territory marketing plans and budgets.
Sales meetings in Seakeeper Europe office if required
Qualifications and Requirements
Two years related sales experience in the marine industry.
Valid passport and the ability to travel both domestic and international approximately 70% of the time are required.
Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics are a must.
Experience selling on international scale combined with demonstrated success managing sales cycles.
Ability to work independently, maintain filing systems and basic databases, gather and analyze information skillfully, and have the ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgment while supporting reasoning for decisions.
Strong command of Microsoft Office products and strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
The ability to read, write, and speak fluent Italian and English is required. Multi-lingual is preferred (French and Spanish are considered a plus).
